LONGUEUIL, QC, Sept. 17 /CNW Telbec/ - The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated wishes to remind the public of the closure of two out of three southbound lanes from September 8 until October 9 , and the closure of two out of three northbound lanes from October 13 until November 13 . In both cases, the works will take place at night, generally from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.

It is important to note that this preliminary schedule may change according to the progress of the repair work achieved on the southbound lanes, then on the northbound lanes. These maintenance works will permit rehabilitation of deck joints on the Champlain Bridge.

At night, motorists are invited to use the Jacques-Cartier and Victoria Bridges during the duration of the work, as well as the public transportation system.
