/R E P E A T -- Champlain Bridge: Several day and night closures from
Thursday, July 1 to Sunday, July 4/
LONGUEUIL, QC, July 1 /CNW Telbec/ - The Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated (JCCBI) wishes to announce overnight closings of two out of three lanes on the Champlain Bridge, based on the following schedule:
- Thursday, July 1 towards Montreal - closing of a first lane at 8:00 PM and a second lane at 10:00 PM, until Friday, July 2 at 5:00 AM - Friday, July 2 towards the south shore - closing of a first lane at 8:00 PM and a second lane at 10:00 PM, until Saturday, July 3 at 8:00 AM - Saturday, July 3 towards the south shore - closing of a first lane at 8:00 PM and a second lane at midnight, until Sunday, July 4 at 8:00 AM
These closings will allow the completion of pavement work and repairs of joints on the Champlain Bridge.
We would like to remind motorists that two out of three lanes will also be closed on the Champlain Bridge (Highway 15 North) in the direction of Montreal at L'Île-des-Sœurs during the day and night, based on the following schedule:
- Friday, July 2 towards Montreal - closing of two out of three lanes at 10 PM to Saturday, July 3, at 12 PM - Saturday, July 3 towards Montreal - closing of two out of three lanes at midnight to Sunday, July 4, at 2 PM

Traffic may be heavier on the Champlain Bridge during the work. Motorists are encouraged to use the other bridges in the South Shore during the construction period. This work could be postponed depending on weather conditions.
