Cision will issue joke news releases submitted by authorized senders from verified Cision customer accounts on April 1, however these news releases will include a fair warning notice inserted at the beginning of the headline, as follows:

This is to ensure that members of the news media do not accidentally report on prank content.

Cision customers planning to issue a joke news release to celebrate April Fools' Day must contact Cision's News Centre team in advance of their scheduled release time.
