TORONTO, Aug. 19, 2016 /CNW/ - Passion Sea Canada, patronized by Foundation Prince Albert II and powered by Helga Piaget, both of Monaco, are pleased to announce a first ever international educational program for children that will focus on protecting and preserving local, regional and global water sources: Lakes, Oceans, Rivers, Seas and Streams.
To kick-off the international awareness & educational initiative, Passion Sea Canada will host an 18-hole GOLF TOURNAMENT at EAGLE'S NEST GOLF CLUB and a GALA EVENT at RIPLEY's AQUARIUM of CANADA on September 10, 2016, in Toronto, Canada.
Every day, 2 million tons of agricultural, industrial, and human waste are discharged into the world's water (UNWWAP 2003), equivalent to the weight of the entire human population. The UN estimates that the amount of wastewater produced is six times more water than exists in all the rivers of the world (UNWWAP 2003). Passion Sea is a non-profit International Association, promoting sustainability and the preservation of natural water sources through education and creativity aimed at children; helping them to understand, appreciate and love the value of water.
