Acquisition will strengthen operations across Canada
LEAMINGTON, ON, Sept. 8, 2016 /CNW/ - Highline Produce Limited ("Highline") is pleased to announce their acquisition of All Seasons Mushrooms ("All Seasons"), one of the largest mushroom growers in Western Canada.
All Seasons grows approximately 19 million pounds of mushrooms per year from three facilities in British Columbia and one in Alberta. All Seasons is known for its commitment to high quality mushrooms and consistent, local supply.
Highline is a fully integrated mushroom business with five facilities in Ontario and Quebec. It is the largest operator in the mushroom industry in Canada, marketing approximately 58 million pounds (26.3 million kg) of mushrooms per year.
All of Highline and All Seasons' combined nine (9) locations will remain in operation with business as usual for employees (1400 combined) across Canada.
