/R E P E A T -- Holiday tunes at Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours Chapel/
MONTREAL, Nov. 30 /CNW Telbec/ - From December 4 to December 19, 2010, Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours Chapel in the historic district of Old Montreal will echo to the sound of the Choralies. These Christmas concerts, free every Saturday and Sunday at 1:30 and 3:00 p.m., will transport you right to the heart of the festive atmosphere of the holiday period.
The Choralies of Notre-Dame-de-Bon-Secours Chapel present six choirs that will delve into Christmas carols of various origins for the entertainment of both young and old. Hymns and popular carols will share pride of place and today's works will join up with those of bygone days. Historic vignettes on the origins of the music, songs and customs of Christmas will add to the performance of the choirs.
We invite you to consult our website at www.marguerite-bourgeoys.com for the list of choirs participating this year. This is an invitation to rediscover the warm spirit of Christmas in all of its traditions. Merry Christmas to all!
