MONTREAL , Jan. 21 /CNW Telbec/ - You are cordially invited to all of the activities being held on the first of three weekends that comprise this year's edition of the Fête des Neiges de Montréal, in the company of event spokesperson, comedian Yan England , genial mascot Boule de Neige and a host of other personalities that make this such a vibrant winter get-together.

This weekend's events and shows include:

    
    -   The tube-sliding slope
    -   The skater's pathway along the river
    -   The acrobatic skiing show with the Canucks de l'air
        (January 23 and 24 at noon, 1, 2 and 3 p.m.)
    -   The Toupie and Binou kids' show (January 23, at 11 a.m. and
        2:30 p.m.)
    -   The Sauts de barils at the skating rink
    -   The Bourgade Nordique, a nordic village-type setting, for tiny tots
    -   The mini-golf ice course
    -   The games of skill in l'Allée Carnavalesque, which is set up like a
        carnival midway
