/R E P E A T -- Invitation to media - Children's Day 2014: a morning dedicated to our little ones/ Français
A festive family event to announce the results of The Great Food Drive for Children and to sort food donations
MONTRÉAL, April 25, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - The Moisson Montréal team invites the media to its Children's Day, which will take place Saturday, April 26, 2014 from 8 h 30 to 11 h 30, at Moisson Montréal. It is during this festive family activity that the results of the Great Food Drive for Children will be announced. It is also during this occasion that we will sort the food and the baby products received as part of the campaign, organized in collaboration with Uniprix, which ended April 21, 2014.
The morning event, hosted voluntarily by Josée Boudreault, host at Rhythm FM, will allow children to learn about philanthropy in a fun way through many activities, including collective food sorting. They will also enjoy a playground designed for them and the opportunity to get their face painted. More than a hundred people, children and adults, as well as elected officials will be on site to salute the work of volunteers and pitch in.
Media are invited to join the volunteers, partners, elected officials and artists throughout the morning of April 26.

About the Great Food Drive for Children
Initiated in 2012 by Moisson Montréal, the Great Food Drive for Children is an annual campaign that involves two other major food banks, Moisson Rive-Sud and the Centre de bénévolat et moisson Laval, as well as Uniprix, a new corporate partner. The primary objective of the Great Food Drive for children is to raise monetary donations and food for toddlers, in order to help feed over 20,000 toddlers aged 0-5 living in poverty in the Montreal region.
