/R E P E A T -- Invitation to media - Strong support from the Government of Canada and the Government of Quebec for the Town of Gaspé/

RIVIÈRE-AU-RENARD, QC, July 12, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - Media representatives are invited to attend a press conference at which the Honourable Diane Lebouthillier, Member of Parliament for Gaspésie–Les Îles-de-la-Madeleine and Minister of National Revenue, acting on behalf of the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development and Minister responsible for Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions, will make an announcement regarding two signature tourism and economic projects by the Town of Gaspé.

Ms. Lebouthillier will be accompanied by Pierre Moreau, Minister responsible for Government Administration and Ongoing Program Review and Chair of the Conseil du trésor, to announce, on behalf of Julie Boulet, Minister of Tourism, and of Lise Thériault, Deputy Premier and Minister responsible for SMEs, Regulatory Streamlining and Regional Economic Development, the Government of Quebec's contribution.

The announcement will be made jointly with Daniel Côté, Mayor of Gaspé.
