MONTREAL , Sept. 22 /CNW Telbec/ - The Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés is pleased to invite media representatives to its annual conference at the Montreal Palais de congrès on September 29 and 30, 2009. This year's theme will be La Communication au coeur de la fonction RH.

Communication is absolutely crucial to all HR activities. New policies, change projects, financial performance -- almost everything that concerns an organization and its employees has to be announced, disclosed, explained and shared. The Ordre's conference, which will be attended by over 2,000 individuals, offers some 50 presentations that will address all aspects of HR management, with a focus on communication.

    - September 29, 8:45 am, the opening presentation, Créer des opportunités
      en temps de crise : est-ce possible?, by Louis Gialloreto, Executive
      Director of the McGill Executive Institute, member of McGill's
      Desautels Faculty of Management, assistant professor in the Law Faculty
      at McGill and director of the EMBA McGill-HEC Montréal module.

    - September 29, 8:15 pm, presentation of the Défi Meilleurs Employeurs
      and the Ordre's Professionnel émérite awards.
    

Also not to be missed are a number of workshops facilitated by professionals from various well-known organizations such as the Société de transport de Montréal, the Montreal Casino, PepsiCo and Frito-Lay.

About the Ordre

The Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés is the primary reference organization in its field in Quebec . It has a membership of close to 9,500 professionals, candidates and students, including 5,000 CHRPs and 2,500 CIRCs. It is the only organization devoted to the protection of the public authorized by the Professional Code to confer these professional designations.
