MONTREAL, June 2, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - Media representatives are invited to get into the summertime groove during the launch of the first-ever summer program at the Place Ville Marie Esplanade, one of downtown Montreal's most popular places to get together.
Three types of activities will be on offer throughout the summer: a twice-weekly Public Market, weekly yoga breaks and a series of "happy hours" with various themes.
At the launch of the program on Thursday, June 4, the Public Market will be in full swing, offering a variety of fresh, easily accessible and authentically local products. In addition to about a dozen exhibitor booths, each market day the Esplanade will host cooking workshops featuring chefs from across Quebec who are passionate about fresh local produce prepared in an environmentally friendly fashion.
