/R E P E A T -- March Break Fun at Black Creek Pioneer Village/
TORONTO, March 11, 2016 /CNW/ - Keeping kids busy, happy and active over March Break can often be a challenge for parents in our region. Black Creek Pioneer Village is here to help, with creative and fun programming over the week-long break. The Village's "March Break Adventure", offered March 14 – 20, is chock full of fun for the whole family.
New this year, kids 14 and under get into the Village for free with the purchase of an adult or senior admission.
Detectives in training can try their hand at solving the Village mystery "Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Stolen Sheep". Junior detectives can hunt for clues, question characters, explore mazes, and take part in the detective workshop, all in hopes of solving the mystery of the stolen sheep.
March Break's warmer weather means the sap is finally running. Black Creek Pioneer Village offers Maple Syrup Adventures during March Break as well. Daily from noon to 4 p.m., visitors can take in the Maple Syrup Show, sample delicious syrup, explore the Sugar Shack Discovery activities and get stuck on the Sticky Trail.
The March Break fun continues including horse-drawn wagon rides and a chance to get up close and personal with the farmyard animals. To keep visitors' tummies full, the Village offers maple inspired family friendly food, hot chocolate, hot apple cider and baked cookies available for purchase.
Come join in the fun of the March Break Adventure, March 14 – 20 at Black Creek Pioneer Village. See www.blackcreek.ca for more details.
