/R E P E A T -- MEDIA ADVISORY - 16th Toronto's Vital Signs Report Launches/
First-time look at equity and quality of life in Toronto
TORONTO, Feb. 22, 2018 /CNW/ - Next Wednesday, Toronto Foundation will launch its 16th Toronto's Vital Signs Report to more than 300 Toronto community, business, government and philanthropic leaders. The event will feature a summary of the report findings, personal stories from residents, and a call to action to Torontonians to close the equity gap.
Toronto's Vital Signs is an annual snapshot of quality of life in Toronto compiled from current statistics and studies across ten issue areas, including housing, the environment, getting around, and income and wealth. For the first time ever, the report uses an equity lens to better understand the complexities of quality of life and the variances in how we experience it. This new approach serves to surface the gaps and opportunities for improvement, and make the report a more actionable tool for policy-makers, practitioners and philanthropists.
