/R E P E A T -- Media Advisory - Accreditation: 2012 Royal Tour to Canada of Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall/

OTTAWA, April 30, 2012 /CNW/ - Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall will tour Canada from May 20 to May 23, 2012. They will make four official stops in three provinces:

• Canadian Forces Base Gagetown, Oromocto, New Brunswick (May 21),
• Saint John, New Brunswick (May 21),
• Toronto, Ontario (May 21 and 22),
• Regina, Saskatchewan (May 22 and 23)

All media representatives who wish to cover the 2012 Royal Tour must be accredited in accordance with the normal procedures of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and obtain an ID card. Freelance journalists must provide a letter from their employer attesting to their employment.

The application for accreditation can be accessed online at https://www.accreditationcanada.gc.ca and must be accompanied by the applicant's electronic identification picture (jpg or gif format).

The deadline to apply for accreditation is May 14, 2012. All sections of the application must be completed.

Please specify in which province you wish to pick up your ID card and check the consent box in the accreditation form if you wish to receive further information about the 2012 Royal Tour.

The media representatives that will receive accreditation can obtain their ID card and media guide at the media centre in each province.
