OTTAWA, Feb. 24, 2017 /CNW/ - More than 150 delegates from the Association des enseignantes et des enseignants franco-ontariens (AEFO) are expected at the union's annual general meeting to be held February 25 and 26 at Toronto's Hilton Toronto Airport hotel. It is the first AGM held under the organization's new governance structure. Delegates will work, most notably, on a complete redesign of AEFO's constitution and bylaws.
Two guests will speak to delegates Sunday: the Minister of Education, the Honourable Mitzie Hunter, as well as MPP and leader of the Ontario Progressive Conservative Party, Patrick Brown.

The AEFO has about 10,000 members and represents French-language elementary and high school teachers in Ontario, from both Catholic and public school boards, and professional and support staff working in various French-language workplaces.
