What: Canada Lands Company is hosting a dedication ceremony for two major public spaces, Valour Park and Victoria Cross Park, at Currie Barracks in Calgary. Valour Park commemorates the men and women who served in Canada's armed forces during World War II while Victoria Cross Park honours Canadian recipients of the Victoria Cross during World War II.
The outdoor ceremony will take place on Saturday, September 25 and begin promptly at 11:00 am, so we ask all media to please arrive well in advance.
