/R E P E A T -- Media Advisory - Cancer Quality Council of Ontario releases 2017 Cancer System Quality Index/

TORONTO, May 15, 2017 /CNW/ - On Wednesday, May 17, 2017, the Cancer Quality Council of Ontario (CQCO) will release the results of its 2017 Cancer System Quality Index (CSQI), a quality improvement index that highlights where cancer service providers can advance the quality and performance of care. The CQCO is an advisory group that guides Cancer Care Ontario and the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care in their efforts to improve the quality of cancer care in the province. Virginia McLaughlin, Chair of the CQCO, will present the results of the CSQI and will be available, along with Dr. Robin McLeod, Vice President, Clinical Programs and Quality Initiatives, Cancer Care Ontario, to answer questions after the presentation.
