/R E P E A T -- Media Advisory - Celebrating the completion of the Elgin County Courthouse/ Français
ST. THOMAS, ON, March 14, 2014 /CNW/ - Attorney General John Gerretsen will participate in a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of the Elgin County Courthouse. He will be joined by David Marr, Warden of Elgin County, Heather Jackson, Mayor of St. Thomas, and other local dignitaries.
As part of the celebration, a new time capsule will be unveiled and placed into the cornerstone of the building.
Members of the media are invited to tour the courthouse before the ceremony.
Members of the community are invited to visit the new courthouse for an open house in the evening.
The new facility will improve justice services by consolidating the Superior Court of Justice and Ontario Court of Justice, currently operating in two separate locations in St. Thomas.
