CF Toronto Eaton Centre invites Toronto to ring in the holiday season with Toronto's own CHOIR!CHOIR!CHOIR!

TORONTO, Nov. 24, 2016 /CNW/ - The countdown to the holidays is officially underway and CF Toronto Eaton Centre is getting ready to bring one of the biggest celebrations of holiday cheer to Toronto with the unveiling of the city's largest Christmas tree.

The 100-foot-tall tree will make its momentous debut tonight in the heart of CF Toronto Eaton Centre to kick off a new holiday tradition set to rival that of the Rockefeller Centre in NYC. Standing at nearly ten storeys tall, almost exceeding the height of all three floors of the centre, CF Toronto Eaton Centre's largest tree in town will officially signal the beginning of the 2016 holiday season.

To celebrate the official lighting of the tree, CF Toronto Eaton Centre has partnered with popular volunteer choir group CHOIR!CHOIR!CHOIR! to make this a truly spectacular and unforgettable event. As the tree lights, choir members along with guests at the centre, will join voices together to sing festive songs, including a rendition of Louis Armstrong's What a Wonderful World that will echo through the halls of CF Toronto Eaton Centre.

Until the official unveil, the CF Toronto Eaton Centre tree will be cloaked in preparation for the grand reveal. On the day of the unveiling, a special donation will be made to Regent Park School of Music through a cheque presentation; sharing the magic of the season at Canada's most iconic shopping destination.
