QUEBEC, July 12, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - The media are invited to attend the changing of command for the Land Force Quebec Area and Joint Task Force (East) (LFQA / JTF (East)) to be held at the Valcartier Garrison Saturday, July 13, 2013. The outgoing Commanding Officer, Brigadier-General Giguère, OMM, MSM, CD, will relinquish command to incoming Commanding Officer Brigadier-General JM Lanthier, OMM, MSC, MSM, CD.

When: Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 1:15 p.m. at the base gate
1:30 p.m.: entrance of the troops on parade
1:50 p.m.: entrance of the outgoing Commanding Officer
2:00 p.m.: Changing of Command

Where: Valcartier Garrison's main gate (369 Shannon road) from which media will be escorted to the location of the parade.
