LONDON, ON, Aug. 27, 2013 /CNW/ - On September 9, 2013 the Ivey Business School will celebrate the grand opening of the Richard Ivey Building and the School's 90th anniversary as Canada's premier business education leader.
To commemorate this milestone, Commander Chris Hadfield, the first Canadian leader of the International Space Station, will deliver a keynote address to Ivey students, faculty and a select group of invited guests. Hadfield, declared by the BBC as the most influential astronaut since Neil Armstrong, will share insights learned through his remarkable career, touching on the importance of leadership, teamwork and collaboration.
Following Commander Hadfield's remarks, a grand opening celebration of the new Richard Ivey Building on Western Road will take place, marking the next chapter in the history of the Ivey Business School.
