OTTAWA, July 1, 2014 /CNW/ - Canadian Olympian Clara Hughes will complete her epic 11,000+ km Big Ride for Bell Let's Talk in Ottawa today. Clara will be welcomed to Canada Day celebrations on Parliament Hill by the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Heritage and Official Languages and honourary Clara's Big Ride Community Champion for Ottawa.

Visit of It's An Honour! travelling exhibit featuring Clara
2 45 pm July 1 at Rideau Hall, 1 Sussex Drive – Photo op with Their Excellencies the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, and Mrs. Sharon Johnston and Clara inside the exhibit about the Canadian Honours System, after which Clara will be available for photos and interviews. Media please arrive no later than 2 30 pm. Enter via the Princess Gate entrance and proceed to the Princess Anne side entrance to register. Parking is available in the Employee Parking lot. Please bring media accreditation.
