OTTAWA, June 22, 2018 /CNW/ - The Honourable Seamus O'Regan, Minister of Veterans Affairs and Associate Minister of National Defence, will join His Excellency Shin Maeng-Ho, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea, Bill Black, President of the Korea Veterans Association Unit 7 in Ottawa, and other officials to commemorate the 65^th anniversary of the Korean War Armistice at a ceremony and wreath laying at the National War Memorial.

In 2018, the Government of Canada will mark the 65^th anniversary of the Korean War Armistice, the 10^th anniversary of National Peacekeepers' Day and the 100^th anniversary of Canada's Hundred Days and the end of the First World War.
