/R E P E A T -- Media Advisory - Community Innovation Fund to Address Needs of English-speaking Youth, Seniors and Newcomers/ Français
MONTREAL, April 27, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - The Quebec Community Groups Network will be hosting a press conference regarding the Social Partnership Initiative in Official Language Minority Communities that is part of the Roadmap for Canada's Official Languages 2013–2018: Education, Immigration, Communities on Thursday morning at 10:45.
A major announcement will be made by Ville-Marie-Le Sud-Ouest-Île-des-Soeurs Liberal MP Marc Miller on behalf of his colleague, the Honourable Jean-Yves Duclos, Minister of Families, Children and Social Development. Miller, along with QCGN Vice-President James Shea and QCGN Director General Sylvia Martin-Laforge, will be sharing details of a new community innovation fund that will address the needs and priorities of English-speaking youth, seniors, and newcomers. A number of QCGN members and stakeholders will also be on hand, some of them joining us from across the province via videoconference.
