OTTAWA-GATINEAU, Nov. 21, 2014 /CNW/ - The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) will hold a public hearing in Gatineau, Quebec from Monday, November 24 to Friday, December 5, 2014. The CRTC is holding this hearing in the context of a process to examine wireline wholesale services and their associated policies. The CRTC will examine many issues, including whether competitors should have access to the larger companies' fibre-optic facilities.. The CRTC wants to ensure that Canadians are able to benefit from a world-class communication system for years to come.
