MONTREAL, June 23, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - Members of the media are invited to meet 22 of Canada's most talented U12 soccer players as they battle it out for a spot on Team Canada at the 15th Danone Nations Cup Canadian national final on June 27 in Montreal.
Teams representing Eastern and Western Canada will face off for the once-in-a-lifetime chance to represent their country at the Danone Nations Cup's international final in Morocco this October.
"The calibre of the players who will take to the field on June 27 is extremely impressive," said Patrick Leduc, former Montreal Impact player and Danone Nations Cup Canada ambassador. "The Danone Nations Cup gives the next generation of Canadian soccer players the chance to shine while promoting the sport across Canada. It encourages young people to be physically active, and gives all participants a shot at realizing their dreams of playing in an international tournament abroad."
