MONTRÉAL, Dec. 13, 2017 /CNW Telbec/ - Members of the media are invited to attend an important announcement on Thursday, December 14 at 10:00 a.m. by Davie Shipbuilding, and a number of its Montreal-area suppliers, regarding an update on the tendering of federal shipbuilding contracts, the federal government's inaction on the issue, and its subsequent impact on jobs and the supply chain. As a key player that plays an integral role in the local economy, Davie Shipbuilding deals with a number of important suppliers throughout the Greater Montreal Area.

Mr. Spencer Fraser, a representative of Davie Shipbuilding, will be on site to summarize not only the steps the company has taken to secure contracts from the federal government, but also present the results these efforts have yielded to date.
