MONTREAL, March 20, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - The direction of CHUM invites media representatives to a media briefing during which Dr. André Lacroix, Endocrinologist and Professor of Medicine at Université de Montréal, will present the results of an international study on Cushing's disease on which he collaborated, and that has led to the development of a new treatment.

Dr. André Lacroix will be joined by Dr. Raphaël Bélanger, Endocrinologist, and Head of the Department of Medicine at CHUM, Dr. François Lespérance, Associate Director General, Medical and Academic affairs and Director of Professional Services at CHUM, as well as Dr. Jean-Hughes Brossard, Head of Endocrinology division at CHUM. In addition, patients with Cushing's disease will be available to share their experiences.

This event will be held on Wednesday, March 21, at 10:30 a.m. in the Salle des séminaires, Masson Pavilion, Hôtel-Dieu du CHUM.
