• A mammogram is the most reliable way to detect breast cancer in its early stages.
• Breast cancer survival climbs to almost 100% when tumors are detected at the onset of the disease.
• Unfortunately, less than 1 in 2 Montreal women (48.1%) were enrolled in the PQDCS in 2013, one of the lowest enrolment rates of the province.
