OTTAWA, Nov. 15, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - Eve Adams, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Health and Member of Parliament (Mississauga–Brampton South), will provide opening remarks to delegates at the Innovating Child and Family Health Conference, on behalf of the Honourable Rona Ambrose, Minister of Health. MP Eve Adams will also present the 2014 CIHR Knowledge Translation Award for the outstanding contribution of a researcher to improve the health of Canadians.

MP Eve Adams will be joined by Dr. Alain Beaudet, President of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR); Dr. Shoo K. Lee, Scientific Director at CIHR; and Frances Bloomberg, Honorary Patron of the Conference.

A photo and media opportunity will follow the opening remarks.
