/R E P E A T -- Media Advisory - Five Design Proposals to be Unveiled for Jack Layton Ferry Terminal and Harbour Square Park/
TORONTO, March 14, 2015 /CNW/ - Members of the media are invited to attend the public presentations of the five designs proposals for the Jack Layton Ferry Terminal and Harbour Square Park on Monday, March 16 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Toronto City Hall's ground floor Rotunda. The presentations will feature the five design teams participating in the Innovative Design Competition unveiling their proposals to a distinguished jury of design professionals and members of the public.
The proposals will also be on exhibition for public feedback in the Rotunda at Toronto City Hall during regular hours, beginning Monday, March 16 at 12:00 p.m. and closing at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 20. An online exhibition of the design proposals, including the opportunity for members of the public to provide their feedback via an online survey, will be posted on Waterfront Toronto's blog at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, March 16. The deadline for the public to submit comments online is midnight on the morning of Saturday, March 21.
Waterfront Toronto's innovative design competition was launched in November 2014 to solicit bold and innovative visions for the Jack Layton Ferry Terminal, Harbour Square Park and the surrounding area. The selected proposal will result in a master plan that will transform one of Toronto's most important waterfront destinations.
