BROSSARD, QC, June 27, 2013 /CNW Telbec/ - The Quebec Marine Association (QMA) and Quebec Flyboard invites all the media representatives to attend to the launch of a new sport: The Flyboard. The first edition of the Nautical Fest which is held on July 6^th and 7^th in several areas across Quebec, on the St Lawrence and its tributaries, will host this event.  Fly like your favorite superhero, Iron Man! This strange engine will quickly propel you out of water using a personal watercraft. After a few minutes, you will easily master it and be able to safely experience flying like a bird overwater, to defeat the law of gravity, to dive underwater like a dolphin and to do acrobatics that will impress everyone around. Only twenty months after the product was on the market, it became a worldwide phenomenon.

Starting nautical activities has never been so easy and accessible!

Presented by the QMA on July 6^th and 7^th, the nautical fest is a new national celebration where more than 70 nautical actors throughout Quebec, including several marinas, ports, schools and clubs will offer plenty of fun activities to the little and big ones. Animation on the beach, boat cruises, water sports are few examples. The Nautical Fest is a perfect moment to try out new water sports like mayak, kite surf, rabaska, rafting, underwater diving, stand up paddle, sailing and wakeboard.

The goal of the Nautical Fest is to show how water sports are accessible to everyone. It also promotes and aims to enhance our maritime heritage, particularly the exceptional resources of the Saint Lawrence and its tributaries.
