TORONTO, June 12, 2014 /CNW/ - Ms. Stella Ambler, Member of Parliament for Mississauga South, and Mr. Patrick Brown, Member of Parliament for Barrie will join Ms. Sandra Palmaro, Co-CEO of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, and Dr. Stephen Robbins, Scientific Director of the CIHR Institute of Cancer Research, to announce the team selected to lead a new national research program on breast cancer in young women.
This is a first-of-its-kind partnership between CIHR and CBCF and one of the largest grants ever awarded in this area. They will be joined by members of the research team and a young mother and breast cancer survivor who will share her story.
