ST. JOHN'S, Sept. 13, 2017 /CNW/ - The Honourable Kirsty Duncan, Minister of Science, will announce the recipients of the 2017 Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships and 2017 Banting Postdoctoral Fellowship at an official ceremony at Memorial University.
These prestigious programs provide funding to talented doctoral students and postdoctoral applicants respectively, both nationally and internationally, whose research will contribute to Canada's health, economic and social growth.
Prior to the announcement, the Minister will tour the Memorial Applied Archaeological Sciences (MAAS) Lab in the basement of Queen's College. Media are invited to join the tour.
