New report spans 24 years and Canada's largest urban centres – offers surprising facts to policy-makers

CALGARY, Sept. 2, 2016 /CNW/ - A considerable momentum has developed around the perceived need for a national affordable housing strategy. Where in Canada is it hardest to be very poor? Who are most at need? What is the size of the need, and where is the need greatest? Any attempt to create a national housing strategy must acknowledge these questions to address the problem.

On Wednesday, September 7th, The School of Public Policy will release a new report that answers these questions from 24 years of data and also identifies the affordability of housing in each of Canada's nine largest urban centers with surprising results.
