Canadian Heritage invites media to attend the official launch of the 40th Winterlude
GATINEAU, QC, Feb. 1, 2018 /CNW/ - Media are invited to attend the official launch of the 40th Winterlude on Friday. Greg Fergus, Member of Parliament (Hull–Aylmer), will attend on behalf of the Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Canadian Heritage. He will be joined by Maxime Pedneaud-Jobin, Mayor of Gatineau, and Jim Watson, Mayor of Ottawa.
Mr. Fergus will also be joined by the Ice Hog Family, as well as artists from the Extreme Aerial Acrobatic and Trampo-wall Show.
This major winter celebration will be taking place in Ottawa–Gatineau from February 2 to 19, 2018. If you have questions for our spokespersons or artists, or would like to cover some of the activities, do not hesitate to contact the Media Relations office.
