BEIJING, Nov. 1, 2018 /CNW/ - Media representatives are advised that the Minister of Environment and Climate Change, Catherine McKenna, will hold a teleconference with Canadian and international media to discuss her visit to China.
While in China, the Minister is engaging with her counterparts to strengthen the Canada-China partnership on environmental protection. The Minister participated in a ceremony to mark the twinning of Canadian and Chinese national parks. She also renewed a comprehensive memorandum of understanding on climate change cooperation between Canada and China and will help lead the annual general meeting of the China Council for International Cooperation on Environment and Development as the international executive vice chair.
