/R E P E A T -- Media Advisory - Minister Chagger to travel to Niagara region to highlight government investments in nature conservation/ Français
NIAGARA FALLS, ON, March 15, 2018 /CNW/ - The Honourable Bardish Chagger, Leader of the Government in the House of Commons and Minister of Small Business and Tourism, will travel to the Niagara region to highlight measures in Budget 2018 that support nature conservation and eco-tourism.
Minister Chagger will begin at Niagara College, where she will participate in a round table with local conservation and tourism stakeholders to discuss issues of importance in the region. The round table will be followed by tour of the college's facilities.
The Minister will then travel to the Niagara Parks Butterfly Conservatory, where she will deliver brief remarks highlighting the government's investment in protecting Canadian nature, parks and wild spaces, followed by a fireside chat on the importance of natural stewardship for the next generation.
Minister Chagger will be available to speak with media following the fireside chat. A tour of the Conservatory will follow.
