OTTAWA, Feb. 13, 2018 /CNW/- In celebration of National Flag of Canada Day, the Honourable Ahmed Hussen, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, will welcome 20 new citizens at the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada office in Ottawa.
On February 15, 1965, our national flag was raised for the first time on Parliament Hill. The National Flag of Canada is celebrating its 53rd anniversary this year. The maple leaf has become our country's most visible symbol, identifying Canada and Canadians to the world.
