TORONTO, Jan. 16, 2018 /CNW/ - The Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Canadian Heritage, will attend two meetings with representatives of the creative industries on Wednesday in Toronto. The discussions will focus on addressing harassment and ensuring a safe environment for all.
The first meeting is being organized by the Professional Association of Canadian Theatres (PACT) and the Canadian Actors' Equity Association and will focus on the performing arts sector; the second will be hosted by the Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists (ACTRA) and will focus on the film and television sector.
Following her participation in these discussions, Minister Joly will take questions from media alongside representatives from both events.
