KINGSEY FALLS, QC, Sept. 21, 2015 /CNW Telbec/ - Cascades inc., (CAS: TSX) a leader in the recovery and the manufacturing of green packaging and tissue paper products, and the members of the Greenpac board of directors invite media representatives to the Greenpac Mill (Greenpac) official opening in Niagara Falls, in the State of New York.
Dignitaries, partners, customers, suppliers and employees will join them for the much awaited event that will take place at the mill, located at 4400 Royal Avenue in Niagara Falls, NY, on Thursday, September 24, 2015, at 1:15 pm.
The ceremony and speeches will be webcast, followed by a plant visit and a cocktail party. There will be photo opportunities for the media, and individual interviews will also be possible.
Greenpac is owned by a company created by Cascades, in partnership with the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, Jamestown Container and Containerboard Partners. Considered as the most advanced in its category in North America, Greenpac manufactures lightweight linerboard, made with 100% recycled fibre. The project is the result of a $470M US investment.
