/R E P E A T -- MEDIA ADVISORY - Ontario Energy Board Coming to KAPUSKASING and COCHRANE to Hear From Consumers/ Français
TORONTO, Oct. 28, 2016 /CNW/ - The Ontario Energy Board (OEB) is bringing the rate decision-making process to Kapuskasing and Cochrane. The province's energy regulator has received a rate application from Northern Ontario Wires Inc. to increase the distribution rate it charges by $5.62 each month for a typical residential customer beginning on May 1, 2017. The OEB is holding community meetings to help consumers:
- Learn more about Northern Ontario Wires Inc.'s costs and rate application;
- Find out how they can get involved in the OEB's distribution rate-setting process; and
- Provide their comments to the OEB about Northern Ontario Wires Inc.'s application.
