/R E P E A T -- MEDIA ADVISORY - Ontario Energy Board Coming to Prescott to Hear From Consumers/

TORONTO, Jan. 11, 2017 /CNW/ - The Ontario Energy Board (OEB) is bringing the rate decision-making process to Prescott.  The province's energy regulator has received a rate application from Rideau St. Lawrence Distribution Inc. to increase its electricity distribution rates by $3.78 per month.  This application may impact bills for the next 5 years, starting January 1, 2017. The OEB is holding a community meeting to help consumers:  

• Learn more about Rideau St. Lawrence's costs and rate application;
  
• Find out how to get involved in the OEB's distribution rate-setting process; and
  
• Provide comments to the OEB about Rideau St. Lawrence Distribution Inc.'s application.

When:	Monday, January 16, 2017
	6:30 to 8:30 p.m. (Doors open at 6:00 p.m.)
Where:	Prescott Legion Hall

	Prescott, ON
