TORONTO, June 29, 2013 /CNW/ - Ontario Nurses' Association (ONA) nurses, staff, friends and family will march in the 33rd annual Toronto Pride Parade tomorrow.
The nurses and ONA staff will march to celebrate diversity and to show solidarity with Ontario's Lesbian/Gay//Bisexual/Transgendered communities. The theme of this year's parade is SUPERQUEER.
Watch for the nurses and ONA staff waving the flag at this year's parade, which begins at 2 pm at Bloor and Church streets.
ONA is the union representing 60,000 front-line registered nurses and allied health professionals and more than 14,000 nursing student affiliates providing care in Ontario hospitals, long-term care facilities, public health, the community, industry and clinics.
