Maple Armor will manufacture fire alarm systems for export to China
SAINT-BRUNO-DE-MONTARVILLE, QC, Aug. 14, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - Solutions D'alarme Incendie Maple Armor Canada Inc., the Canadian subsidiary of Beida Jade Bird Universal Fire Alarm Devices Ltd., the Chinese leader in the manufacture of fire prevention material, invites journalists to a ground-breaking ceremony for the start of construction on its first-ever plant in Quebec.
The ceremony will be attended by Zhendong Xu, chairman of Beida Jade Bird Group, and Weimin Cai, president of Maple Armor Canada, as well as Martin Murray, mayor of Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville and Jacques Daoust, minister of the Economy, Innovation and Exports.
The new plant, which will produce commercial fire alarm systems destined for the Chinese market, represents one of the first direct investments in Quebec by a Chinese manufacturer.
