MONTREAL, July 10, 2012 /CNW Telbec/ - The Public Service Alliance of Canada, Québec region (PSAC-Québec), the Union of Veterans Affairs Employees (UVAE) and its UVAE local at the Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue Hospital would like to invite media representatives to a press conference concerning the union's views on the transfer of the Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue Hospital to provincial jurisdiction.
You will recall that the Governments of Canada and Québec had publicly announced on April 27, 2012 that the last hospital dedicated to treating veterans would be officially transferred to the province, a move that would take effect in March 2013.
The union will explain during the press conference how it views the transfer from the standpoint of service delivery and employee conditions.
