Massive Chandeliers to Light Electric Train Debut in West Toronto

What:	Rail of Light will see the Wallace Avenue Footbridge transformed into a huge, sparkling chandelier. Every three minutes, the whoosh of an electric train racing by in the darkness - quiet, clean, efficient - will add an atmospheric layer to an exhibit that imagines public policy possibilities.

Why:	The Junction Triangle celebrates the arts as part of Scotiabank Nuit Blanche while increasing awareness of the massive expansion of diesel trains through the neighbourhood. Surrounded by train tracks on all sides, the Junction Triangle is situated at the epicentre of rail activity in West Toronto and faces the greatest impact from expansion plans now under construction.
