TORONTO, Feb. 1, 2013 /CNW/ - Media are invited to meet with Diane J. Brisebois, President and CEO, Retail Council of Canada (RCC) following her appearance with Shelly Glover, Member of Parliament for St. Boniface and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Finance, and Ian E. Bennett President and CEO Royal Canadian Mint.
The event will mark the beginning of the phase-out of the penny. Ms. Brisebois will answer questions as to how retailers will handle the phase-out and assist customers in this transition.
