/R E P E A T -- Media Advisory - Status of Women Canada/

OTTAWA, Oct. 4, 2013 /CNW/ - The Honourable Dr. K. Kellie Leitch, Minister of Labour and Minister of Status of Women, will announce Government of Canada support for a project by the Society for Canadian Women in Science and Technology that will provide more women with the skills to participate in Canada's current and emerging technology sectors.  The Minister will be joined by John Weston, Member of Parliament for West Vancouver - Sunshine Coast - Sea to Sky Country, and Wai Young, Member of Parliament for Vancouver South.

Minister Leitch and other event participants will be available for a photo op and to answer media questions following the press conference.
