New facility will leave legacy for communities and high-performance sport
TORONTO, Sept. 21, 2015 /CNW/ - The TORONTO 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games Organizing Committee (TO2015) will be handing over the CIBC Pan Am/Parapan Am Aquatics Centre and Field House to the City of Toronto and the University of Toronto Scarborough. This will be the last of more than 30 competition venues used during the Games to be handed back to their respective owners.
A ceremonial key will be handed between venue owners with formal remarks made by partners. Legacy users of the venue, including university students, community members and high-performance athletes, will be in attendance.
